App Update – TextLater

By

On

TextLater brings added control to texting. Now you not only control what you text but when you do. Want a specific message delivered at a specific time? Use TextLater to set a time and a date.
As the developer suggests, TextLater has multiple uses.
• Middle of the night and too late to send a text? Schedule it to be automatically sent first thing in the morning.
• Send yourself reminders at any date/time with a convenient "Me" button.
• Worried that you will forget to send an important text message? Schedule it to be sent at a specific date/time, and you don’t have to remember to send it anymore!

The recent update means you can now send messages to any carrier worldwide.

Scheduled text messaging from your iPhone or Touch. Nice!

TextLater is just $.99 and can be purchased HERE in the App Store.

Instaviz is a great mind mapping tool for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It let’s you quickly add and arrange items and graph their relationship to each other. It lets you not only brain storm/dump, but
graphically see and rearrange items. As an app it is an impressive accomplishment. As a usable tool it could become invaluable.

I wrote a full review which you can find HERE.

Instaviz is an impressive app. If you mind map, and get organized best through visual means, it is definitely worth a look.

We’ve got 2 copies to give away.

“So Long 2008” Giveaway – Goalkeep

By

On

Goalkeep is a great app for setting goals and then helping yourself stay on track. It is intuitive, simple enough to use that doesn’t become a task in its own right, and powerful enough to really help you stay on track.

As the developer describes it-
Goalkeep is a motivational tool that helps you achieve your personal goals. Every day that you work towards your goal, check the day off on Goalkeep’s calendar. Soon enough you’ll see a chain of progress: all the days in a row that you’ve checked off. And on days that you feel like giving up, the chain will give you the motivation to keep going!

A free update that allows you to track multiple goals is currently in development.

We’ve got 2 copies to give away.

“So Long 2008” Giveaway – FastCall

By

On

I love my iPhone, but truth be told, it’s actually not the best phone I’ve ever used.

It needs voice dial, but doesn’t have it.

It needs an "intelligent dialer" that lets you simply begin dialing a number or a name and it immediately narrows down in your address book to the person that you want, but doesn’t have it.

With FastCall it does.

FastCall is an excellent application that fills in this later blind spot. We’ve given away a few copies already and…  have a few more to give out tomorrow night.

You can get it HERE in the App Store.

“So Long 2008” Giveaway – Air Sharing

By

On

Air Sharing is a "must have" application for me. It is, by far, the best, most convenient way to transfer files to my iPhone/Touch and view them that I have seen. It works Mac OS X, Windows XP and Vista, Linux and any web browser. It supports TONS of formats, including iWork and Office formats, PDFs and HTML. The list is huge!

We’ve given away a few copies already and…  have a few more to give out tomorrow night.

ViewTi puts a virtual caddy on your iPhone and in your pocket. How powerful is ViewTi? Well, ViewTi has mapped over 8500 golf courses and are currently mapping hundreds more each week. Moreover, if the course you want isn’t available just submit a request and you will be notified when it is. The good folks behind the app note that most requests are added the next day. From our interactions with them we believe it!

ViewTi can help you book a tee time, get directions and more. It puts a range finder, pencil and scorecard on your iPhone.

All this in one simple integrated tool. Makes you even more excited about the new clubs… doesn’t it?!

Well, we gave away 4 copies of ViewTi last week. This week we have two copies of its powerful big brother- ViewTi G.

ViewTi G features-
