Well, there are now over 100,000 Apps in the App store. Whew, how can you possibly find ones that will serve your needs? An App called Chorus by envIO networks is a way to separate and help you locate the best Apps. How can it do that, you say? Here’s how.
Download Chorus and create an account. It will then show you a series of Apps and you choose which ones you have already. The Apps you choose will be your starting point to share with your friends. You can add your friends from Facebook, your address book, Chorus, Chorus users near you, and Appmavens. After that, you can then see Apps that your friends have. Sharing is good since you’ll be sure to find new Apps that you like from your friends. There’s also an activity feed page that shows you reviews, posts, and downloads. You can even go to your computer and download a cool program called Content Gobbler that will grab information on all of your Apps from your iTunes library and add it to Chorusto share with your friends, if you so chose. Of course, you can hide certain Apps should you want to – in case you want to keep that one special App a secret from every one!
Having used Chorus for a week, I can say I’ve found several Apps I would not have known about thanks to seeing my friends’ App lists.
