I think we’ve had enough of virtual pets on the app store to look after. From dogs to talking cats, there’s no end to what kind of virtual creature you can take care of. So why not change things up a bit with a virtual human; and a ninja at that?

Clumsy Ninja lets users take care of their own pet ninja, complete with full blown interactivity options that really put the old Tamagotchi toys to shame. Players can choose from a myriad of things to do, from holding out punching bags to tickling your ninja. Although it does seem questionable as to why one would find tickling a preteen ninja amusing.

I think the largest drawing factor in Clumsy Ninja isn’t the extensive content available. Leveling up your character or teaching him new skills is secondary. Instead, it’s the little things that count. Things like the cheeky little sound effects the developers put in that make players go gaga over their little pet.

But as mentioned, Clumsy Ninja allows for players to level up their ninja through the various in-game activities. Following which, the players can upgrade their ninjas to teach it an extensive variety of new skills.

A free app, Clumsy Ninja promises hours of aimless fun. Who said you need a storyline to pursue for an enthralling gaming experience?
