User Rating:This game was actually developed by a 17 year old. I’m failing at hiding my jealousy. I work as a computer programmer sometimes and the design and execution of this application is much better than anything I could have developed.
The concept is very simple. There are two painter’s canvases on the screen. The left one is blank and the right one has a design on it. Using the tools at your disposal (such as stencil designs and paint), you are supposed to duplicate the work on the right onto the blank canvas. Your victory on the level depends on how close you get to the original work in terms of percentage. This is done for 35 rounds or levels of the game (some folks complain that there are not enough levels. 35 seems a good number to me).
I give points for originality as I’ve never seen this concept before. The game is actually fun and challenging, particularly to a visual person like me. Even the associated menus and graphics are well done. In fact, I would go as far to say that they are at the level of most professional game development firms. This kid has a career ahead of him. Are you listening, Electronic Arts?
My only complaint is a minor one. The background music is really unnecessary. I think a better option would be to allow the user to play his/her audio library while playing the game.
If you enjoy noticing the subtle differences between identical twins, then this could be the game for you.
