Cute math is a ‘math’ game for younger kids; the game is aptly named as each screen has something ‘cute’ on it that my daughter loved. I played the game with my 4 year old and she seemed to like it a lot.
The controls are easy to use and my 4 year old had no problem using the application in the slightest–she knew exactly which items to drag and them various items (numbers, melons, etc).
I thought it was a bit repeatitive, but my daughter kept wanting to play it over and over. When she got bored with one ‘game’, she’d move on to the next game. There are several different ‘games’ for the kids to play; each one works with a different math skill: recoginizing the ‘quantity’ that the number represents, recognizing the number itself, basic single digit addition, single digit subtraction, and single digit addition and subtraction (without any quanity being displayed).
I’d say the age group is preschoolers through 1st graders.
