DeskWhiz is a good idea that doesn’t quite work in execution. However, conceptually, DeskWhiz is a good idea. What better way to keep your iPhone or iPod Touch handy at work than as a digital photo frame. It can loop through the photos kept on the device while displaying the superimposed time. It can even play your audio library if desired.
One big problem with this program is that there are limited settings. You can control the speed of the photo slideshow and how the music is played (looped, simultaneously, etc.), but you can’t control the size, font or color of the clock. Which brings me to the second problem.
You can’t view the application in landscape. I can’t speak for everybody in the working world but if I had a digital photo frame program on my iPod Touch, I’d probably want to lean it on a side. The clock font should become larger when this is done and the photos should adjust accordingly. The program should also allow the user to scroll around the photo and determine what piece to put in the frame if it can’t fit.
In short, DeskWhiz needs some work before it can become a viable program and worth the $1 investment. If you’re in a hurry and need a quick digital photo frame to use at work, then this will suffice. Otherwise, I’d recommend waiting for a latter and more capable version.

What I Don't Like:Poor execution. Nowhere near enough functionality to be worth the cost.
