Look, up in the sky! It’s Doodle Jump. No, it’s Doodle Screw. No, it’s Doodle Plane!
Doodle Plane, the latest Doodle game to hit your iPhone or iPad (the app is universal), is not just another lame, unoriginal game behind the ever-growing Doodle name. No, the game is very unique and uses controls specifically tailored to your touch screen device.
On the left side of your device is an altitude lever. Touching it will take your plane higher, while letting up will bring your plane down. Simply adjusting your plane’s altitude will not take you anywhere but up and down. To more forward, you must press the button on your right. This is the throttle and will advance your plane. Careful though, you don’t want to go too fast as there is a lot you must avoid.
You do have to avoid things like buildings, helicopters, pterodactyls, volcanoes, and flocks of birds before you can land safely. One of my complaints involves these flying obstacles: if I can’t fly past a skyscraper, for example, then the helicopters shouldn’t be able to either.
The game would crash on launch on my iPhone 3G, but it works fine on the iPad. The iPad version is not just a cheap, scaled-up version of the iPhone game, but actually an iPad version, which is really nice.
The game as a whole is really great: many levels (with more on the way), many planes to choose from, and many, many challenges.

Value:High.
Would I Buy Again:Yes.
Learning Curve:Medium, takes a while to master the controls.
Who Is It For:Anyone who enjoys simple games and beating their previous high scores.
What I Like:The challenging gameplay, simple-yet-demanding controls, and fun animation.
What I Don't Like:The game kept crashing on my iPhone 3G.
Final Statement:Do not bypass this game like you do with all of the other Doodle games!

The controls are simple as well as tricky because there is one touch for height and the other for speed and you have to manage both to achieve success,so just fly through without crashing into any obstacles and land your plane correctly on the landing strip to go to the next world of adventure .
