Drop-It! is an app that takes Dropbox, a service that you already use, and somehow makes it even better.
The $1 app uses your Dropbox account to store and sync your iPhone’s photos across all of your computers. And you know what? Drop-It! works really well.
You simply login to your account, select any photo or choose to take one with your phone’s camera, and your photo is uploaded! That’s it.
Though this app works as it should, and is simple as it is intended to be, there are several ways this app could be improved. The app could give you the option to choose more than one photo to upload at a time. The app could also use a better confirmation system; photos uploaded aren’t accompanied by a message of “Success” or “Photo uploaded”, but you are put back at the choose photo source screen with the uploaded photo. I felt that the app could use some graphical enhancements too.
But this app does work. If you’re one who takes photos and just doesn’t have an easy time saving them to the computer, look no further than Drop-It!. Your photos will be safe and secure, and stored across your multiple computers by the incredible Dropbox.
