Zombies have filled the town and your only escape route is the open roads. Dash through the sand deserts, crushing zombies and blasting blocks, to reach the rescue team.
Nothing unseen or innovative finds way in this app. You have a ride with sway forward and backward options and an accelerator & boost buttons. Prevent toppling over the irregular rugged road and run over anything that comes your way. Make sure the speed doesn’t fall too low or else, you cannot survive the hits or make a jump.
The core of the gameplay is upgrading your ride. Nine on ten times, you won’t reach the checkpoint, as the fuel tank dries up and you need to upgrade to reach more distance. Increase tank size, tune up engine and gears, add armors and guns (to prevent zombie or obstacles slowing you down). When a ride fails to meet your needs, get a bigger, better, newer truck! The game proceeds from one checkpoint to other and you’ll mostly need a new ride for each one.
Earn to Die sports the story mode which ends when you reach the rendezvous point. This unlocks the Halloween & Championship modes, thereby opening new windows to the world of rash driving.
The general animations are satisfactory while slow motion effects are spectacular. But, nothing special could be said about the sound effects or controls. The inability to purchase coins or weapons or upgrades via In-app purchases gains respect and also restore much fun into the gameplay. To conclude, though there’s nothing to complain about this one, I couldn’t find anything persuasive enough to invest on it.
