User Rating:Fleck gives all the indications of being a cute, kiddie game. It isn’t. Yes, the little pixie/elph character is cute. And yes, the music is sort of Enchanted Forest-esque. But the actual game is kinda fun!!
The instructions read-
Slide your fingers up down laft and right to move Fleck towards the cave on the top right corner in the least amount of moves and/or time. Move OVER objects such as the acid raindrops to drop the lap one square down, or the toadstool to move the map one square to the left. HOWEVER, if (he) lands on a square with one of these objects Fleck will be poinsoned!!
Translation- the cute pixie/elph and music are, in fact, a puzzle/strategy game that is a whole lot of fun and… isn’t all that easy since with each move the game board changes and requires an entirely new strategy. And that is the real fun of Fleck. You make each move in the moment but, at the same time, have to adjust your thinking after every move.
I only looked at Fleck because some people had asked about it but after playing it for a while I can actually recommend it.
Quick Take
Value: Medium- I like it but $1.99 or $2.99 would be more in line IMO
Would I Buy Again: Yes, but not at this price.
Learning Curve: Medium- it is, after all, a stretegy game!
Who is it for: People who like puzzle games
What I like: Kinda fun and original
What I Don’t: The game locked up a few times. Priced higher than it should be. After three minutes the music made me want to kill Fleck myself!
Final Statement: A surprisingly fun game!
WARNING: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE GAME!
