I’m a sucker for humorous apps. Fortune Yeller would be a copy of the famous Magic 8 Ball except it’s evil. Not only it is evil, it’s loud.
The premise is simple. Ask the Fortune Yeller a yes or no question and it will respond in a loud and evil negative answer. If you get through the answer without wanting to kill yourself, you win. The cutest part is that the evil 8 Ball is smoking while giving you your fortune.
Answers include ‘If you weren’t such an [email protected]#%[email protected] everyone would like you more. Wait, what was the question?" and ‘Maybe. But ask your friends. But they don’t trust you. They hate you." If you let the program wait a little bit without doing anything, the Evil Magic Eight Ball still makes rude and crude noises and phrases.
You can also e-mail the responses to friends (the app interacts with the Mail app on your device) or simply see the list of conspirators behind this app atrocity. This is in case you want to hunt them down later.
That’s about it. There isn’t much to the app but what do you expect for $.99? If you like the Magic 8 Ball but have a wicked, sick and morbid sense of humor, then this app is worth the buck.
