Freaked! is a simplistic photo manipulation program that allows you to take either pre-existing photos that come with the app or any photos in your library and randomize the head against a different set of eyes, nose and mouth.  The resulting face that comes up would make you look twice if you ever saw that person walking down the street.

The design is a cute idea, taking a circus theme with curtains and everything and making it the background for the application.  The app also allows for a high degree of interactivity with Facebook in case you want to change a profile photo to include one of the ones you create.

Freaked! is one of those cool apps that allow you to mess with people’s heads.  If you become really good at it, you can take iPhone photos, do a quick manipulation when the target isn’t looking, then show him/her the resulting freakish photos.  Hours of fun.

For me, such an application would get tiresome quickly.  There are some cool features such as the randomizer for putting features with heads.  I also like the menu system which involves a bunch of icons that jump out of a suitcase.

Overall, it’s a well done application with a unique yet understandable interface.  Even at $1.99, it might be worth a look.  Imagine what you could do with the heads of famous people.

Pros: Good interface.  Interesting functionality.

Cons: Quickly tiresome.
