Who doesn’t like to save money? I mean, times are tough but from my recent visit to CostCo you wouldn’t know it. Sure people like to purchase staples in bulk to save money but the people in line with me at the checkout counter weren’t just buying bread and detergent. No, they were buying gaming devices, tvs and more. In fact, I suspect in times like these people are drawn even more to places like CostCo since… who doesn’t like to save money?
FreshDeals makes it easy to track down some of the best deals on the net. The app tracks the offerings from 15 different deals sites and offers them up in an easy to use, albeit busy, interface.
Among the advantages of FreshDeals is the fact that data from the deal sites is refreshed every few minutes and then provides information on how "fresh" a deal is. After all, haven;t we all found a great deal on the net only to go to the site and discover that it is either out of stock or the deal is over?
In addition, if you find a deal you like you can email it to yourself or others. This is particularly important since you cannot bookmark deals and come back t them later.
Finally, it is worth noting that FreshDeals also includes a browser so that you can get more information on a deal without having to first leave the app.
There is a lot more than can be done via email updates or Apple’s PushNotification (if it ever sees the light of day) but even as it stands now the app is great. Sure, sometimes you have to spend money to make or save money but, thankfully, in this case, the cost of admission is only $.99!
