It’s that time of the year when you may need to go out of town – visiting relatives, going to some football games, etc. – and guess what? The iPhone can help you with that. An App called Hotelsbyme will get you on your way.
Start Hotelsbyme and the following choices appear – find hotels near me, select a city or call to make a reservation. There are also some recommended locations as well, should you just want to “get away” for the holidays.
Choose the city you are visiting and the dates of your trip and Hotelsbyme will bring up a list of hotels in ‘list view’ or ‘map view’. It will allow you to search for hotels in many ways – star ratings, amenities and property type. Once you choose a hotel, information on the hotel will appear – types of rooms and rates, a description of the hotel, amenities, photos and reviews from guests. It does all of this in real time so you know the availability and price of your hotel room right then. Of course once you’ve found your hotel, you can book it right from within the App. Everything is done safely and securely and the reservation is saved within the App. You can also save your favorite hotel within the App for future reference.
On a personal note, I used Hotelsbyme to book a trip and it found me a great hotel room at an excellent price!
