Hungry Choo-Choo is an entertaining game about a fun little character named Choo-Choo, who is, as the name implies, hungry. All the time. In this game, you will be challenged in 15 levels, always trying to satifify Choo-Choo’s hunger by swiping foods he requests to him.
Hopefully you do not think this will be an easy task. It’s far from it. Though the game does start off slowly, it’s quite apparent by level 4 that this is no child’s game (though it may look like it based on the graphics).
This game has two game modes. In the first mode, called Classic Mode, you swipe food to Choo-Choo. Though he is hungry, he won’t accept just any food; he requests food by color, like orange or green foods, and also by type, like candy or popsicle.
The other game mode, Time Challenge, you try to feed Choo-Choo as quickly as possible, with as few mistakes as possible. Like in Classic Mode, in this mode, there are “power-ups” too, which, strangely, sometimes make gameplay more difficult. One may freeze time, which is good. Another will make it so that you can barely see the color of the foods, and make you have to either guess at the risk of feeding Choo-Choo the wrong food or wait and lose time.
One complaint that I had with the game is that progress is not saved. So if you get to level 10 and then quit the game, you will have to start over at level one. Working up to level 15 is definitely a challenge because of this.
But challenge is good and you will surely enjoy this great, and free, game. The fun gameplay, along with incredible music and graphics, make this free game a must-have.
