I’m the first to admit that I’m a quirky individual which is why applications like iCaughtSanta causes me great amusement. The app is a low-level photo editing tool that lets you place their "Santa" (obviously a guy in a red suit that they hired for a photo shoot) in any background you choose from your Photo Library.
The app is intended to fool children. The idea is that you go to your Christmas Tree at night after the kids are asleep and take a picture. Then you use the app to make sure Santa is in it. You can do some minor editing and move Santa around into the appropriate position. Then you show it to the kids in the morning.
Older kids wouldn’t be fooled but younger kids still think of photo manipulation as a set of grown-up words.
Me? As mentioned, I’m quirky which is another word for "sick". I would snap photos at places like strip clubs or really nasty looking bars and show the kids saying "so what do you think of Santa NOW, eh?".
iCaughtSanta is a cute app and if you have small kids I think it would be worth the download. The free version only allows you to save one photo with a watermark on it. The app comes in three flavors. To save one photo without the watermark costs $.99 and for unlimited non-watermarked saves, that’s $2.99. I find it a little pricey for what it offers, but I leave the final decision to you.

Who Is It For:Those who still believe in Santa and those that want to mess with their heads.
What I Like:Well-thought app. Good interface.
What I Don't Like:Pricey for what it does.
Final Statement:If you have kids that believe in Santa, it might be worth the three bucks.
