First there was the flashlight app (and all of it’s clones). Then there was the lighter (and it’s copy cat versions). Now there’s a glowstick app. Yes the ubiquitous glostick–seen at kid’s parties, parades, and raves all around the world.
But would I trust my phone to a small child at a party or parade? What about some raver that’s been dancing for 15 hours and may or maynot be on some sort of mind altering substance? I think I’d rather spend the $3.00 and keep my phone.
Using the iGlowstick app is easy—swipe your finger to ‘bend’ the glow stick, and then shake your phone to make it glow. The more you shake it the more it glows. And then…well, I guess you get to do it over again.
It’s interesting how old ideas become rehashed and new again, but do we REALLY need or want this app? I don’t. (It is currently #12 on the Top Free Apps list, so maybe I’m in the minority here).

Would I Buy Again: No way!

Who Is It For: Fans of glow sticks
What I Like: There’s a wide variety of colors and patterns to choose from.
What I Don’t: I just don’t get it. Do we really need this app?
Final Statement: If you never tried the flashlight apps, or the lighter apps, give this one a try.
To let it glow break the stick and shake the device!
