If you pay attention to headlines you know that President Obama is viewed as the first high-tech President. So, it seems natural that there is now The White House app that allows mobile device users to check in with all of the latest news and information coming out of the nation’s capital.

The White House app has tabs for the official Blog, Video coverage, Photos, and the Newsroom. There is also a Live tab that will allow anyone to stream audio and video feeds as they are released. The Blog tab gives a variety of information from a wide range of sources and departments. The Live tab lists the events that will be occurring, such as briefings, presidential speeches, and forums open to the public.

Video can be watched in full-screen landscape mode and downloaded for later viewing when offline too. All Photos will only be those officially sanctioned by the White House and will be viewable in the highest resolutions along with time and date stamps and full details of the content.

There are other news and governmental information apps, but The White House app is the only officially authorized app providing complete coverage of all major Presidential activities.
