Millions of people love to play the guitar, and millions more would like to learn. Unfortunately it is not always convenient or realistic to tote a guitar around throughout the day. The PocketGuitar app makes it easier than ever to learn to play or to perfect your skills with this instrument and even adds a bunch of fun options and features too.

When the PocketGuitar app is added to a mobile device, the user will be able to choose from a wide array of features and options. They can select to play left or right handed, tune their guitar to the tones they need, learn chords and strumming and even select between acoustic, electric, classical, bass and even the ukulele.

There are also all kinds of special sound effects that can be added to a jam session, and these include special delays and distortion as well as a range of customizable sounds. Helpful display screens show the player the exact positions for their fingers and arrows indicate where any plucking or strumming should happen.

There are many music instruction apps for iPhone and iPod Touch devices, including drum kits and piano lessons, but the PocketGuitar is unique in that it allows the user a full range of choices and options and also teaches them to actually play the instrument.
