Each day there are millions of people stepping into grocery and department stores with detailed lists of all the things they need to purchase. Often they have whipped up this list before heading out the door, and when they get home they see that they have forgotten to add several necessary items.

With the Shopper app such an occurrence is a thing of the past because it develops custom lists of “regular” purchases for each store visited. The app allows the user to create as many lists as necessary for covering all of the shops and stores they visit on a regular basis.

It also allows them to create special lists for such things as new recipes, family get togethers, and holiday gifts. Although it comes with an ample catalog of everyday items, custom additions are easily added. Once lists have been developed the user will need to only enter the first few letters of regular items to see them automatically added to their list.

Pricing can also be added to items in order to help the user track expenses and create a better budget. Once prices are input, the lists created can also include total costs (including sales tax). Lists can also be shared between users in order to help members of a household tackle regular shopping.

There are other shopping tools and apps, but this is the one that allows for the greatest amount of customization and tracking. It is available only for iPod Touch and iPhone users.

At a cost of $.99 to download, the Shopper app is a true bargain.
