The popular Mac computer prayer alerts program known as Guidance is now available for mobile devices. The Guidance Pro app gives the user the same excellent and reliable features that make it easy to know when and where to perform daily prayers. The Guidance Pro app uses the GPS feature to find the exact location of the individual, and from there it delivers information about the direction of the Qibla in two special ways.

The first is through a very clear rendering of a standard compass which prompts the individual towards the ideal direction, and the second is through a scrollable map that provides a high-resolution image of the area in which the user is located. The interface allows the individual to decide from five different themes to give their prayer times schedule a custom and decorative appearance. The user can also choose settings that can wake them up forty-five minutes prior to an early or late prayer time too. All alerts can be set to trigger even when the application is not running.

There are several prayer apps available, but the Guidance Pro offers some of the most unique features that use the power of the mobile device, including the built-in compass for accurate direction of the Qibla. Currently the app is compatible with iPod Touch and iPhone devices.
