Have you ever seen a Cooliris wall? This is something available to users of the famous Cooliris website and it can contain photos, videos, news stories and more. Now, anyone who wants to use this site while away from their computer can do so through the Cooliris app. This is an app that uses an integrated web browser to conduct safe searches for all of the content desired.

Users can then post any content they find to their wall. Through the app a user can perform all of the same tasks as they could with the full version – they can integrate their Twitter sites, create a list of favorites, save other people’s walls, subscribe to live RSS feeds, and download content directly to their mobile device.

The app also makes it super-easy to scroll along the wall and view its contents through the various touch controls.  The searches done through the Cooliris app include access to engines like Bing, Picasa, Twitter, Cooliris channels, and more. The landscape orientation option also makes it easy to scroll through the full-screen wall and use the keypad to add text to images or files.

This is the exclusive Cooliris client for a mobile device and is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch units.

There is no fee for the Cooliris app, but creating an online account through the website is required (also at no cost).
