Do you like solving interesting problems? Ever ponder how things work? For example, do you like to figure out how to move something through the use of levers, lifts and even catapults? Well, if you do then Rolando is the app for you. It is one of the most well-received and popular games specifically designed for the iPod Touch and iPhone user.

Rolando offers players four different “worlds” to choose from, with thirty-six levels in each. The game is played by manipulating the various “gizmos” provided and these can include everything from trampolines and bombs to dispensers and lifts. The player must touch and tilt their device in addition to choosing the right tools for success.

Games can be stopped and re-started at any time, using the iSave feature. Rolando has many “secret” levels for truly inquisitive players, and also provides weekly updates which add new secret levels to existing downloads.

While there are many other “puzzle” games that call for a high level of interaction, such as “Topple” and “Mazefinger”, the Rolando app offers a much more “physical” experience because the player is forced to use the entire device and not just finger controls to make their efforts a success.
