Ever heard of the SteamPunk movement? It is basically an aesthetic style applied to everything from literature to household objects and gives them a Victorian-meets-Gothic look. Now, the Guitar Machine app provides a nice array of useful guitar tools in the gorgeous SteamPunk design as well.

The Guitar Machine app features many different tabs and tools, including the Auto Tuner, String Tuner, Metronome, Chords, and Chord Finder. It includes a chromatic tuner, string tuning, and 40 alternative tunings to use. The app user can tune to any pitch, access a reverse chord name lookup, rely on the full-feature chord dictionary, and utilize the onboard metronome with ranges from 30 to 300 beats per minute.

There are more than 12 signatures and a handful of instruments from which to choose on the metronome function too. All of the features are displayed in the classy and tasteful SteamPunk fashion…deeply stained leather and wooden backgrounds, old-fashioned bubble glass gauges, brass and metal placards serve as buttons and labels, fonts and text appear in classic styles, and even the indicator lights and dials have old-fashioned appearances.

There are many full-feature guitar apps, such as Ultimate Guitar Tabs and Guitar Lab, but the Guitar Machine app is designed with the true SteamPunk in mind.
