How can a game with such good graphics screw things up this badly? I’m a big superhero fan, but using a popular character is no excuse for making a slow game that is difficult to understand.
It begins with the simple loading phase. There are four screens that one has to sit through to get to the game. Can’t they combine them on one screen? Does it take that long to prepare the executable code?
Then there is the slow reaction time of the controls. Tilting the device around to get the locking mechanism for your weapons working is extremely difficult. If Iron Man’s actual suit reacted with the same time, he’d have been dead halfway through his movie.
At least the game has really good graphics. That is one shining positive in a sea of negatives.
The premise behind the game is simple. Iron Man has to go against some fighter jets (presumably the "bad guys") and avoid their missiles. The Lite version comes with only one game level. Obviously, more come with the full version.
Is the game worth it? Maybe. Perhaps after one practices with it more to get the hang of it. For free, and maybe even for $.99 cents, it’s worth downloading. I only wish the creators would work more on the actual game and not just the graphics.
Pros: Terrific graphics.
Cons: Poor reaction time. Too many pre-game ads.
