If you remember the game "Taboo" then you have a pretty good idea on how iTabo works. Simply put, you pass around your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad among a group of people and they have to guess among a group of words which one is not a synonym for the main one.
This version of the game is pretty simple to use and comes with a set of instructions on how to play. Through the settings menu, you can turn on or off the sound effects and music and also change the number of points to win, the penalty points and the duration of the timer.
I particularly like the interface of the game. It’s extremely colorful and logical. Also, the game doesn’t require any sort of Internet connectivity to play. It’s all on the local device. The game does have links to the company’s presence on Facebook and Twitter.
It’s best to play the game in two groups. It’s up to each group to mark that the other group chose the correct answer by hitting "correct" (or "skip" if they can’t get it or get it wrong). It makes for a very good party game.
I suppose if I had any complaints, it would be the limitation to two groups for the game. Why not three or four for larger parties? Actually, given the penchant for Facebook and Twitter, why not allow to play using those mediums? But that’s a minor complaint.
Overall, iTabo is a very good game for playing with friends.

Who Is It For:Those who like having party games in their pockets.
What I Like:Good interface.
What I Don't Like:Would be nice to have more player options.
Final Statement:iTabo is fun, neat, pretty, triangular, cool (one of the words does not belong in the statement).
