if you’re like me, exercise is not exactly a fun past-time.  Well, an App called iTreadmill by Ricky Amano might change that a little bit.

Start up iTreadmill and the first thing you need to do is calibrate it for your stride.  After that, add your weight to help determine the calories burned and that’s it.  It has a nice user interface.  As you walk, it will count your steps and calories burned.  When you stop to take a break, the system pauses. You can lock the screen and put it in your pocket and when you start walking again, iTreadmill starts right up..

iTreadmill has four windows which track distance, the time that is has taken and the average pace.  In the settings, you have control over when you’re alerted to a certain distance being reached, how loud the pacer sounds and whether or not the sounds are on.

iTreadmill also works in treadmill mode when you’re actually on a treadmill or running around a track.  It paces you with a steady beep, keeping you in step – a nice feature.  Another nice feature is the iTreadmill history page which keeps statisical information on how our workouts are progressing.

So, does iTreadmill work?  Yes, it works well, tracking your steps and your calories burned.  You’ll be surprised at how many steps you actually take in a day.  This is truly one of the more useful Apps.  Best of all, the price is .99 .  Get it in the App store and start tracking your exercise today.
