iWishYou is an interesting new take on the concept of greeting cards. The application is filled with literally hundreds of different original poetic quotes about over a dozen occasions. These quotes can be sent to other people via SMS, e-mail or Facebook.
Occasionally I have been at a loss for words to describe platitudes for an occasion. This app can not only lend me a phrase, but even send it for me. The app uses the term "wishes" to describes these sayings.
The interface is fairly intuitive with a central menu system of holidays and occasions (which will hopefully grow over time. Sadly, Hannukah has been left off the current list). There is also a toolbar at the bottom to perform various tasks. In the event your can’t find your particular occasion, the app allows you to create a custom Wish. You can also declare a particular Wish as a "favorite" for repeated use later.
iWishYou does have room for improvement. A good idea would be to use social media and have users submit their own wishes for others to share. In the great pool of the Internet, there must be a few poets that rise above all others. I like the fact that there is also a condolences section for those not-so-happy events in life.
It’s a cute app and certainly worth the dollar. It could be most useful if ever someone is having a special occasion and you find yourself at a loss for words.

What I Like:Good idea. Clean interface.
What I Don't Like:Could use more occasions. An excellent opportunity to use social media to get content.

- SEARCH: you can find your perfect wish searching among all the available wishes. You can type a keyword or browse through the alphabetical index.
- FAVORITES: you can mark as favorite the wishes you prefer, so you can quickly read them every time you need.
- MY WISHES: you can easily add you personal wishes to the collection.
- EMAIL-SMS: you can send every wish to your friends through SMS and e-mail, directly from the application.
-SHARE ON FACEBOOK: you can personalize your wish and share it on Facebook. You will be able to send your wishes directly on Facebook and publish it on your personal status, your wall and your friends wall.
- COPY AND PASTE: double tap on the wish to copy it in the pasteboard. You will be able to paste and use it in any other application you like.
