User Rating:If you love to do Jigsaw Puzzles, then you’ll be happy to know that M5 Systems LLC has an App for the iPhone called Jigsaw Jumble.
All you have to do is download Jigsaw Jumble and you’re ready to go. There are a few options you can choose on the first screen but you can change them at any time. Firstly, you get to choose from a 25-piece or 36-piece puzzle. Secondly, you can choose to have the Rotation Off or have the Rotation On. The rotation option allows you to change the direction of the puzzle pieces making the puzzle a little more complicated to solve. If the Rotation On option is chosen, the puzzle pieces will not be facing the right direction which complicated solving the puzzle. You may have to try a few spots, rotating the pieces a couple of times, until you find where the puzzle piece fits. Lastly, you can choose which puzzle picture you would like to do – there are 24 choices in all – or you can set the picture to Random, which will rotate though the 24 puzzles for you.
Once you choose these 3 options, touch Play and start solving. When you are on the puzzle screen, you can choose to Show the Outline or leave it blank (which again, makes for a more challenging puzzle). You can also choose to view the picture if you need help finding where a piece goes. From this screen you can choose to do a new puzzle, get a hint on the next piece, solve the puzzle or turn the sound off/on.
Jigsaw Jumble is easy to play. You just slide the puzzle pieces around the board. When the piece is in the right spot, it locks down and can not be moved anymore. When the puzzle is finished, you’ll be able to see how long it took to solve it and enter your name if you set a record.
I’ve been using Jigsaw Jumble for awhile and I love it. It’s a lot of fun and a great diversion when you are sitting in the doctor’s office waiting for your turn! There aren’t any timers to bother you so you can work at your own pace. Your work is saved automatically in case you have to stop suddenly and want to come back to where you left off. In addition, there are some very beautiful puzzle scenes and there are enough options that you can try the 24 puzzles over an over again. Start simple with the 24-piece puzzle, using the puzzle outline and keeping the rotation off. Then, add the more complicated options, trying to beat your own score.
Jigsaw Jumble is available in the App Store for 99 cents. Though there is also a FREE version, this version does have ads that pop up each time you play a puzzle. When this happens, you have to touch the ad, then touch skip. The version you choose is up to you, but either choice is a lot of fun.
