Everyone needs to learn the alphabet at some point, so why not make it fun? If you have a young child, you can make it fun for them! How? Simply download My ABC Book and have your child learning, but also having fun, in no time.
In the main mode of My ABC Book, your child is given a random letter and asked to pick one of four pictures that begins with the same letter. He or she then drags the correct picture to the letter and, depending on the answer, receives a check or an X. Your child does this ten times. It’s a little like a quiz, but with fun sounds and graphics.
Your child can also learn the alphabet by choosing any letter of the alphabet that he or she wishes and applying stickers to the page. If your child chose the letter D, for example, deer, desk, dice, dime, dog, doll, and more stickers would be available for decorating the page. The page can also be saved for later if your little artist wishes to keep the decorated page.
The app is great, provided your child knows all of the vocabulary. In the quiz mode, I wish the app would say the word after a single press on one of the pictures. Sometimes it is confusing not knowing if the raincloud means rain or storm, or if the regal figure means king or prince. Adding this would be beneficial to all, while not giving away the letter that the word begins with.
Still it is a great game for all kids who are learning the alphabet. If you have a young child, Jumpstart his or her education with this app.
