Slide a few panels around, redirect a beam of laser and pass the stage.
Sounds simple?
No.
Here’s the catch. What if I told you the panels can only move in fixed directions and even in a fixed amount of steps? What if different panels had different reflective abilities? Now this, is a real brain puzzler.
The graphics are not top notch with this app, but granted they don’t have to be. A puzzler, Lazors does what the genre suggests and puzzled me. With many different levels ranging from different difficulties, I found myself frustrated and even pulling a few strands of hair out from trying to solve certain puzzles. There were levels that were so difficult, I missed by stop while attempting it on the bus. It was so distracting that I didn’t realize I was way past my destination and was late for my appointment. It incites a sense of accomplishment towards completed puzzles, and also a sense of eagerness to ignore whatever you have at hand so that you can spend all your attention on beating the stage you are stuck on.
Hints are limited throughout entire gameplay, and additional hints are available only through in-app purchases. So be sure to use them wisely. Sometimes, the trickiest of puzzles have the simplest of solutions and you will feel like you’ve wasted your hint on that level which in most cases will prove to be true.
Such a simple game, but so addictive. One of my personal favorites, and I’m not even halfway through.
