User Rating:The first time I used this app, I admit that I was a little worried; I had never been hypnotized and was worried that hypnosis could be bad for the mind. After actually using it, however, I have come to see hypnosis as something both real and useful, something I am sure you will come to believe too.
This app claims that it will help you be able to control your dreams, what is often referred to as lucid dreaming. It does not only this (which is incredible enough), but also things like improving commitment, determination, and self-confidence.
The app is pretty easy to use. Before the initial use, you’ll want to look through the settings where you can choose many options. There is the option for a short or long hypnosis induction, the option to wake, sleep, or sleep-and-then-wake after the program is finished, the option to set the theme to mountain stream, ocean, or rain, each with a soothing animation or still photo (your choice) which is displayed during the program. After the settings are chosen, simply press ‘Begin’ from the ‘Listen’ tab.
The first night I used this app, I was surprised to find out how long of a program it is. This is good though, as the program is very relaxing and enjoyable. I was also surprised to learn that you can fall asleep and your subconscious will continue to absorb the hypnosis. Still, I stayed awake for the entire program and after it completed I realized that it had made me very tired. I fell asleep immediately, something which almost never happens for me. I remembered part of my dreams when I awoke, which, again, is another unusual event for me.
The next day I used it, I fell asleep during the second of the three part program. It’s really quite relaxing. I awoke realizing that I needed to find my iPhone and headphones, but besides that I again remembered my dreams (even more than I had the previous night) and also felt very rested. I am not sure if I am controlling my own dreams yet, but with my current progress I am sure that I will eventually reach this goal.
Hypnosis may be something that you have never thought about or seriously considered. Let me tell you that I am a hypnotherapy believer, something I was not only a few days ago. Try this app, you’ll only gain more of your own brainpower and better sleep.
