User Rating:Chad Ochocinco, born Chad Johnson, plays as #85 for the Cincinnati Bengals. He had his last name legally changed to Ochocinco ("Eightfive" in Spanish). He recently announced that he would be changing his last name back to Johnson. I’m not sure how much it costs to change a last name, but hopefully the money needed for this change will come from his NFL career and not from this terrible app.
The app Mad Chad stars the football player himself. His bird Maria has been stolen by a thug and Chad needs to rescue her. Pretty poor storyline, huh? Well, that’s not the worst part. The entire game is so basic and repetitive that I struggle to see how anyone could possibly enjoy it. As you advance through the levels trying to rescue his pet pigeon, you can either jump (there’s also the exciting ability to double jump), duck, or tap the screen to defeat an enemy such as a flying crow or mafia member.
The game does become pretty difficult; many enemies on-screen leave you very little time to choose to jump, duck, or tap the screen. The supply of three lives drops very quickly, not that you would play the game long enough to get to the difficult levels.
At the end of each level, Chad flies off to the next level by jetpack! Yeah, I guess that is pretty unoriginal. Well, at least the graphics are decent.
Chad, I’m not a fan of yours and this game definitely won’t change that.
Quick Take
Value:The game is a terrible value.
Would I Buy Again:No way.

Who Is It For:Young Chad Ochocinco fans who don't get tired of repetitive gaming.
What I Like:Graphics are good.
What I Don't Like:Gameplay and storyline.
