Kids’ apps always have something colorful and interesting to play with and at the same time, lots for your child to learn. If you don’t know how that works, take a peek at Madagascar Preschool Surf n’ Slide which is a perfect example.
Like you would’ve already guessed, this one is themed from the movie Madagascar, but casting the childhood of all the characters. The idea is that you can be one of them, sliding through rushing waters & ice bergs and having regular lessons in between.
You can be Alex, Gloria, Marty or Melman and choose from a number of colorful and different types of sledges. Kids love to try out more interesting stuff and this one provides plenty of variations. Once the ride starts, you can slide the bottom bar to move right or left and collect stars & avoid obstacles. The motion is real slow and you aren’t ‘game over’ even if you crash, making it perfect for children. Along the way, you also take power-ups like rainbow, melody or snowflakes which offer soothing visuals and music.
As you pass through, regular checkpoints occur with a set of brightly illustrated mental trainers like matching the colors, finding correct numbers, spotting the odd one, picking the animals and much more. Kids can take as many chances and time as they want thereby, not putting any sort of pressure on the young mind.
After each ride, one sticker is awarded for the toddler which can be used in any of the four photographs provided. Kids love to stick and play with their favorite characters, especially in the movie themed familiar backgrounds. The animations and the twinkling background score are attractive. To sum up, with enough fun, knowledge and encouragement, Madagascar Preschool Surf n’ Slide surely ticks all check-boxes for a kids favorite.
