Modern Combat 3 was one of the best FPS games we’ve seen on iOS devices. Gameloft has done a great job in keeping all the good things intact, adding some new stuff and creating a better experience. Here it is, Modern Combat 4!

As usual, America needs protection and its you, they’re counting on. The President has been kidnapped by the terrorist Page. Follow the storyline and complete missions along the way. Rescue the President and put a bullet in Page’s head.

Released into the hot area, you and your team are surrounded by hostiles. Find a cover and shoot’em up. With practically unlimited ammo, variety of guns, snipers and grenades, that shouldn’t be hard. Occasionally, you need to plant C4 and blow up buildings; launch missiles into tanks and even control a drone. All this action surely makes Modern Combat 4 a thrilling experience.

You wouldn’t believe this. But you are the one playing as terrorists too! First, you become Page and take down the SWATs. Then you are the good guy and take out the anti-socials. In short, you’ll be fighting against yourself.

As with the last one, the highly customisable controls are a pleasure to use. The graphic effects are stunning while the sound effects are battle themed. Multiplayer gameplay, both local as well as global are retained.

This isn’t one of the longest games out there, because I finished it in a couple of days. But the premium experience really makes Modern Combat 4 worth the price.
