I will start of by saying that this is not the kind of game I usually play but the description made it sound fun, it’s good to try new things and it was only $.99.

That being said, this game is not fun.

First of all you have to have the sound on loud enough to hear (not good for time wasting in offices, on trains, etc) and now matter how loud I made it I found it hard to understand the instructions of the monkey.

The game’s premise is simple enough – Monkey see – monkey do. The monkey tells you to do something like tap the screen; you do it. The more you do correctly, the faster he goes. It has 3 levels of difficulty and a multi player mode.

I played this on the easiest level and never got very far. Am I just too old for this? Can I just not hear well enough? I’m not sure. It might be a fun game (if you could understand the monkey) to play with a group and are 12-15 years old.

Quick Take

Value: low

Would I Buy Again:  no

Learning Curve: exceptionally low, easy premise but hard to understand monkey

Who Is It For: possibly pre-adolescent and maybe adolescent boys

What I Like: nice graphics

What I Don’t:  too loud, hard to understand what monkey is saying, makes playing frustrating

Final Statement:

if it was free you might want to try it if you like this kind of game
