User Rating:Well, it’s a good idea, but…
I remember when I took physics I, II, then III in college, and this is pretty much the most basic formulas you could get for maybe freshman physics I.
It would be a much better application if the variables were defined, or if it would allow you to add your own equations- but it doesn’t.
It would be a much better application if it allowed users to add values to variables and have the system do some form of calculations- but it doesn’t.
I do like that the equations are organized by categories, but without more detailed explanation of the variables or the ability to add your own equations, I really don’t see the value in an app that doesn’t even have as many equations as a first year physics book has on the back cover.
Like I said, it’s a good idea, but…
Quick Take
Value: Low
Would I Buy Again: No
Learning Curve: Low
Who is it for: Someone who is too lazy to carry around their physics books and needs these basic equations for first semester physics or High School level basic physics
What I like: Categories
What I Don’t: Very limited in information, no explanation of variables, no ability to input additional equations.
Final Statement: If the developer decides to broaden the amount of information and adds more detailed information about particular equations, it would be worth a second look.
