As per the name of the app suggests, Natural Tots is an app that will appeal to toddlers but probably only to that particular age group. The concept behind the app is simple. The screen is covered with “mud” or some greasy covering and users have to wipe it away to reveal a gorgeous photo embodying nature that is very well worth the effort.

To start off, Natural Tots places beautiful effects on the app such as sparkles and fancy stuff when your finger is placed and held on the screen. I would think this would appeal lots to tykes given that at that age they would be extremely fascinated by intricate patters floating across the screen.

Natural Tots comes with a plethora of different photos to present to users, and each photograph is a high-definition shot of nature. Each photograph presents breathtaking stills that exemplify the beauty of mother nature, which is a lot more meaningful than the computer generated images of nowadays.

One thing I didn’t particularly like was that while swiping the screen, the app cleared the coverings randomly. I would have liked the app more if it responded to the exact location of my swipes.

All in all, Natural Totsis an extremely entertaining app for the younger ones. For $2.99, it is definitely worth every penny. Do check out the other apps by the developer too. You can check them (Merry Cherub, Natural Tots Birds, Natural Tots Flowers) at the developer site. The have the same concept but more great and relevantly themed pictures.
