User Rating:Think, swipe, think, swipe. This is what you do in the easy-to-pick-up, hard-to-master game of New Sokoban.
Basically, your goal is to get the red tile onto the grey platform of the level. But it’s not as easy as you might think. No, the levels quickly become challenging, leaving you confused, double-checking your every move while the clock races to lower your score.
In each level, you’d like to get three stars. This is often a challenge as you must solve the puzzle quickly, and use as few movements as possible.
If you can notice when you’ve made a mistake, you can always either undo past moves or restart altogether. You should know, however, that these second chances come at a cost and also affect your final score.
There are currently 50 challenging levels. There is the promise of more being added too, and the addition of more free levels is always welcome.
If you get stuck on some level, just tap Pause/Menu and select “Skip Puzzle” to go farther.
For the unbeatable price of free, you get a fun, addicting, polished game that is hours of puzzling fun. Sokoban is translated as warehouse keeper, but here it also means great game.
Quick Take
Value:High.
Would I Buy Again:Yes, it?s free.
Learning Curve:You?ll instantly know how to play this game, but mastering it will take time.
Who Is It For:Anyone looking for a challenge in the classic game of sokoban.
What I Like:It?s free, challenging, and hard to put down.
What I Don't Like:No option to remove ads offered (but we have heard from the developer that he is going to include the option to remove ads via In-App Purchase in the next update).
