Finally! Pat Pat Pets is live on the app store, and kicking well. After playing a few of its levels (beware of forgetting to check the clock), we must say this is a wonderfully drawn game with simple playing… but complex gameplay. Keep reading!
You only need to check the awesome definition in the eyes of the characters in the start screen to see how much attention to detail has been put in the imaging of this game. While fighting, it looks even better, as you can see in the screenshots below:
Playing is easy: you just add pets to fight your way from left to right… But you have to prepare carefully, collecting enough points to unlock new pets or magic to fight ever increasing (an tougher) enemies. There are also achievements (like you can see in the left screenshot, disappearing) and full game center support.
The game is localized in Japanese, Chinese and English, although I think I could even play in Japanese: the game is easy to pick and play, and you’ll enjoy the endless hand-drawn backgrounds and characters. A funny and easygoing music plays along the game to complement the background scenery.
