The Photo Transfer app, as its name implies, is meant to transfer photos from one device to another, and it does it very well.
Before, when I wanted to send some pictures from one of my devices to another, I would go to the Photo Gallery, select the files I wanted to share, and then email them to myself. I’d then “read” the email to save all the pictures.
Photo Transfer removes a lot of the steps. I can go into my photo app on my phone, copy the photos I want, and then send them directly to my PC or (better yet) to my wife’s iPhone. They arrive quickly and are automatically stored with my other photos on her phone.
Since Photo Transfer has to be on both iDevices (iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone), I expected that I would have to download an application for the PC. So when I found out that I just connect to it via a browser, I was very impressed!
When using the program, the interface isn’t anything fancy, but it is well laid out—with instructions on exactly what needs to be entered in order to do the transfer (the IP address of the receiving device). If you need help, the help section lays out each step of the process with text and images.
The only ‘fault’ I could find with Photo Transfer was that process of selecting which photos you wanted to send. In order to send a photo, you go to the regular Photo app, and select the pictures you wish to send. You then “copy” them and start up Photo Transfer. It’d be much nicer if you could do all that without leaving the Photo Transfer app.

Would I Buy Again:Yes...sending pictures between iDevices tends to be something I do a lot. Anything that makes it easier is good in my book!
Learning Curve:Suprisingly very little. I thought it would have to configure all sorts of things, but "it just works"
Who Is It For:People that store a lot of photos on their iDevices and wish to share them with various devices and computers
What I Like:It's easy to use and does exactly what you expect
What I Don't Like:I don't like having to go to the photo app to select which pictures I want to send. I'd rather stay in one app
Final Statement:I have a feeling that I'll be using this app a lot. It make sharing pictures much easier.
