A childish but yet complex game involving gnomes, goblins, fairy godmothers and most importantly, brewing potions, Pocket Potions will keep the young ones and even some older players hooked for hours on end.
A never-ending game Sims style, Pocket Potions involves having the player set up a potion store and ensuring that it thrives and remains profitable.
Using the cliché open area concept common in games of the same genre, Pocket Potions provides and open area for development of the potion store and has players interact with their surroundings to proceed with the game. Usually, such interactions are met with rewards such as ingredients crucial to the brewing of certain potions.
Other side events include the raising of mythological animals, such as dragons, which contribute to the game progress in their own special ways.
Artistically, Pocket Potions is nothing to really rave about. The characters are drawn in a cartoonish way, so as to appeal to its younger target audience.
