Cut the Rope is one of the most rated games on iOS and this lead to a lot of chatter, when the makers Zeptolab announced their new release. The innovative concept combined with perfection from the reputed developers has led to an awesome puzzling experience with Pudding Monsters.
Alot of puddings are stuffed into a fridge with an unknown human taking a grab, every now and then. The puddings realize its time for revolt! They all plan to fuse into one giant pudding monster and scare the pudding-phile away.
But, they cant’t do it by themselves. Can they?
Puddings are arranged at different points on a grid table, along with some objects. Swipe to slide a piece but make sure they hit something on the way or else, they fall off the edges. To complete a level, fuse all the jellies into one, but that is not the hard part. Just like feeding OmNom, completing levels can be easy and gets boring after sometime, while finishing with all three starts is where the challenge comes in. When the monster pudding is ready, make sure they cover all the stars on the table and this kindles the addiction.
As levels pass, the game becomes more complex with sticky green jellies, immovable sleeping jellies, synchronized hypno jellies and two-piece split jellies. Breaking ice objects, reproducing tunnels, one-way bridges, bouncing spring objects etc are also introduced to keep things hard.
The sound effects and animations are inspired from Cut the Rope and are, without doubt, awesome. The current version involves three worlds – Fridge Escape, Room Invaders and The Neighborhood – with 24 levels each and as always, new levels are in the making. Complete each with the 3 stars and you get your money’s worth.
