We’re all naturally curious and we can find questions almost anywhere. Often these are questions are about ourselves, and may include “Am I awesome?”, “Am I sexy?”, or “Am I an effective leader?”. If you have asked yourself questions like these and you want answers, Rate-Me is the app that you have been looking for.
Though its name may imply something like Hot-or-Not or even collective voting (something that we recently reviewed), this $2 app intends to answer any questions that you have about yourself and rate your character.
Why should you let a simple app determine who you are? Well, it’s not a simple app. In fact, it was devised by internationally known psychologists Peter Quarry and Eve Ash.
The app is a lot of fun. You take a quiz comprised of ten simple statements, and you answer as honestly as possible with Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and finally Strongly Disagree.
After you have truthfully answered all questions, you are given a numeric score. For example, I scored a 55%, a rating that is not low in the red but is not high in the green either, in the “Am I an effective leader?” quiz.
I only have one little complaint about this app: its user interface could use some improvement. Other than that, it’s great!
This is one of those apps that you won’t be able to put down. You’ll find out what psychologists think of your character. You’ll also have a lot of fun questioning your friends. You can find out who is the better friend, or who is sexier. One thing is for sure though: you’ll know who has the better app!
