I came down pretty hard on AmaSearch a short while ago. AmaSearch is an app for searching Amazon.com. I found it so anemic that I recommended sticking with Amazon’s iPhone optimized web app. No longer.
Snip is a great way to search for item on Amazon. Like AmaSearch it has an easy-to-access search field that appears when you start the app. Like AmaSearch it can quickly take you to Amazon’s site optimized site.
So why recommend Snip and not amaSearch? Because Snip searches Amazon’s database super fast, opens the Amazon super super fast and does so within the application and Snip can access numerous Amazon shops throughout the world.
Yes, the web app does the same thing but Snip feels a whole lot quicker to me.
Snip is simple, has a clean interface and is free. It also has a place on my iPhone now.

What I Don’t: Nothing so far except I would love it it randomly made items you search free!

- Your latest requests are locally stored for each category. So you can easily browse all found products later.
- There is less datatraffic for each online search request.
- There are no annoying ads.
