It even responds to all external remote controls like next song, previous song, pause, and play!Play/pause with a single-tap of your finger, go to the next track with a double-tap to the screen, or go to the previous track with a triple-tap. These intuitive controls work great no matter what your orientation is to the screen, like when it is in an armband, or if you are driving.New in this version is Shape Gestures. Go to the next track with a swipe gesture, go to the previous track with a back-arrow shape gesture, loop songs with a circle gesture, and zig-zag for status update on Facebook! There are also gestures and actions for these things: theme randomization, song shuffle, intro-outro skip, and help. Please see the help screen by touching the small i icon in the lower right corner or by using the info shape gesture (a question mark without the dot). All shape gestures also work no matter what your orientation is to the device! They even work upside down. Please see help screen for approximate shapes, and note that they work best when you start at the same point each time.  Draw a w or zig-zag on the screen and you can log in to your Facebook account, then whenever you draw the status update gesture (w), you can share the currently playing song on your Facebook feed and update your status! That song is also linked to iTunes and will let anyone purchase the track if iTunes carries it! (requires an internet connection)songvoo also shows elapsed and remaining time for the currently playing track, along with a slider you can use to skip sections or replay a certain part. Enable Intro-Outro skip with a gesture or in the settings app, and songvoo will skip a user-defined number of seconds on the beginning and the end of the song. Settings app can be found on your main iPhone home screen, this is the same place you find settings for other apps on the iPhone like Mail, iPod, Safari, and 3rd Party Apps. The 3rd Party Apps section appears after a couple of seconds at the bottom of the built-in app settings.You can also personalize songvoo! Change font, colors, background image, or enable the SHAKE TO RANDOMIZE feature and set themes automatically! (When you find a theme you like, disable the randomizer to SAVE IT!)The large, easy-to-read display lets you know at a glance exactly what song is playing and who the artist is. No matter if you are driving, jogging, or separated from your device by a large room, you will be able to easily read the giant text readout. You can also enable the album title and disc number in the settings app.songvoo also lets you choose a new playlist and/or songs from your iPod library at any time, and works similar to the iPod On-The-Go playlist. We call this special temporary playlist the songvoo queue. Hold your thumb on the display and shake your phone, and the songvoo queue will shuffle!
