I’ve been struggling a little trying to figure out the best way to review this game. I’d imagine there are going to be a ton of reviews available soon enough, so of course I could say the obvious…
“WOW… who would think that a game on the iPhone could look like this? Scrolling screens that are smooth, really good use of color, fast frame rate, and even decent sound which you really cant believe is coming out of that little speaker.”
This game would impress even the most synical critic of the iPhones abilities to handle fast moving platform games. And with 5 worlds and 110 stages, you could forever keep yourself dizzy in the excitement.
The controls are cool, takes a few minutes to figure out the right position of the iPhone for absolute zero, but then once you get the hang of it, it really isn’t so hard to control.
My only problem is that I start to get a little dizzy if I play this too long. Or maybe it’s the little monkey stuck in a ball who looks like he is going to have a heart attack at any minute as you willfully force him to run like hell collecting bananas and avoid the ever present danger of falling off the platform.
