You take control of a Tesla coil, and your job is to basically protect yourself from the stickmen who wish to take you down. Sounds fun? You control the near omnipotent machine taking down hordes of pathetic little men and their puny little chainsaws. This somewhat reminds me of The Matrix series, or even Skynet in the Terminator films.

Let’s start off with what I don’t like about the game. It’s too repetitive, but that’s about it. Every level requires you to kill an increasing amount of stick figures, where you “earn” cash to upgrade your Tesla to kill even more stickmen. All this gets pretty annoying and boring after awhile, but then again, grinding is present in many games.

As mentioned, the game allows for you to customize your Tesla, increasing the power of the electric bolts or even its durability! Tesla Wars also allows you to purchase some extra backup firepower, such as the ability to lay mines, or call forth an airstrike to decimate your foes.

The game is available for free at the moment, in lieu of Openfeint’s App of The Day promotion. I’d advice you to get it immediately before it disappears!

Quick Take

Value:Medium.

Would I Buy Again:Yes.

Learning Curve:Fairly simple.

Who Is It For:Anyone and everyone above the age of 7.

What I Like:The simplicity that will get you hooked.

What I Don't Like:Gets repetitive after awhile.

Final Statement:Imma firin? my TASERZ!
