Halloween is here, and you know what that means: monsters are on the loose! In The Creeps app, that is.
In this app, the monsters aim to scare a young child; it is your mission to stop them all before they get there (well, you can allow up to 20 to reach the kid).
How do you stop them before they terrorize the child? With guns, glue, flashlights, and boomerangs of course! The Creeps is, after all, a kind of tower defense game.
Like in Fieldrunners and TapDefense, you’ll earn money for each monster you take out. With this money, you’ll need to upgrade your weaponry or add more in a strategic manner.
You’ll face a multitude of monsters and then, usually on every tenth level, a boss. These oversized creatures are much harder to defeat and, in case you cannot defeat them and they get to the kid, they’ll drain more from your 20 health points than their smaller counterparts.
The game is often frustrating, but it’s definitely worth the struggle. It’s a great game, and guess what? The Creeps, along with its iPad variant The Creeps HD, are both free until Halloween!
