User Rating:Admittedly, the game of tic tac toe becomes somewhat passé around the age of eight, but I’ll give credit where credit is due: the developers have created a well-done version of the game.
It’s big and simplistic, yes. You can play easy, medium, or difficult levels. There is, of course, a two-player version and a one-player in which you play the computer. You can even set the program for a demo and have the computer play itself forever. Now that’s entertainment!
For this free program, the developers obviously have to make some money which is why advertisements appear along the bottom of the screen. There is also a paid version for $.99 which has no advertisements.
The part about the application that I really llike is the design that looks like chalk on a board. I know that if I played the game with my niece or nephews, they would think it was pretty before they walked away five seconds later out of total boredom.
The game does have options which simply involve either hearing sounds while you play or changing the interface from new to "classic" (and frankly, the new one looks better).
In short, it’s a neat game to have on hand and it looks great. If you really hate the ads, buy the pro version.
Pros: Good interface. Easy to understand.
Cons: It’s just tic tac toe.
